2019-2020 Celebration of Athletes and Awards Ceremony

May 23rd capped off an abbreviated season but an extremely long year of volleyball!

COVID-19 may have prevented us from enjoying an evening of speeches and an elegant dinner at Michaelangelo’s, but the night was still a celebration of our #MACfamily, filled with recognition of our amazing athletes and a ceremony for our graduating class from MAC Titanium.

Thank you for a wonderful evening, stay safe and we look forward to playing again soon!

Help Flatten the Curve

With Ontario declaring a State of Emergency, here's a little reminder of all the things you can be doing at home right now to help #flattenthecurve as you practice #socialdistancing . Make sure you check your emails regularly to ensure you are up to date with any changes from our Club President. Thank you to all the health care professionals out there working in the face of this crisis!

This is a great opportunity to be completing Reid's workouts, or email your coach to ask for some at-home workout ideas to improve your power, strength, agility, stability, and mobility!

Just a reminder that the following have been cancelled:

Club & Team Bonding Weekend

Our entire club headed to the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre October 18-20 for our Club and Team-Bonding Weekend. The weekend was full of laughs and fun. The teams took part in a variety of team bonding, communication, trust, and problem-solving activities. Thank you to all of the amazing OELC presenters that came up to work with our teams, to our incredible coaches for giving up their weekends from their families to be with their teams, and to all the parents who trusted us with their kids for the weekend and drove up or back. Thank you to our friends at MVC for allowing us to join them and for the organization of the weekend which made it such a big success! Finally, thank you to all the players for joining us up at OELC and being open to trying new things and for competing hard at the MAC Cup @ OELC!

Registrations are now CLOSED for 13U & OUR 2nd 17U Team

Any athletes still looking to play on our 13U MAC Graphite team should contact the Head Coach directly.

Unfortunately, after great lengths, our second 17U team will not be running this season.  We truly wish all the athletes that participated in our tryouts, the best of luck during their High School and Club seasons.

Wyatt Lightfoot (right), earns 9th Place finish at Nationals!

MAC athlete, Wyatt Lightfoot, has been making the summer transition from indoor to beach for few years now but 2019 is the most memorable one yet.  Wyatt earned a spot on Team Ontario Red Beach this past summer and won a Gold, two Silver and a 9th place finish at Nationals along the way. Thanks Wyatt for making MAC proud!

MAC 14U Athletes attend Team Ontario Regional Program

What started out as four MAC athletes trying to earn a spot into the OVA’s Team Ontario Regional Program back in March, concluded today after all 4 athletes earned their way into the program and spent a week, along with our Club President, training, learning and ultimately competing in the Regional Cup. Ethan and Jeffrey, along with their teams, finished in 6th and 7th respectfully while Caleb and Mathew were part of the Gold Medal winning team. Congratulations on your hard work and accomplishments!
